KeynotePR was founded with a passion to give clients a high quality, well-grounded service, free of the ‘flimflam’ which dogs much of the PR industry. Our team is focused on achieving solid, measurable results for clients, drawing on years of hands on experience, yet we set aside time each week to keep ourselves up to speed on the latest marcoms developments and tools.


Terry Nicklin  BSc DipM MBA FCIM FCMC MCIPR

Terry Nicklin

With more years in international marketing and PR than he cares to remember (ok, it’s over twenty five!), Terry has been Marketing Director for technology and professional services companies, and marketing consultant to blue-chip private and public sector organisations. He has led marketing teams in start-ups and in larger organisations listed on FTSE, NASDAQ and AIM stock markets, so he understands the challenges of real life marketing practice.

Today, he keeps right up to date as Course Director for Digital Marketing at Cambridge Marketing College, and teaches on several CIM modules. As a Tutor, he has travelled to many countries including Indonesia, Germany, Ireland, Spain, The Netherlands and Iran.

Terry has written three books for marketing students, published by Pearson Education, Kogan Page and Cambridge Marketing Press, and has contributed to several others.

In 2020, he was awarded the Unsung Hero Award for his work on the CIM East of England Board, and in 2022 was Highly Commended in the Volunteer of the Year category.

Terry has led the organisation of the Cambridge Digital Marketing Conference since its inauguration in 2007. The conference won the CIM’s Innovation of the Year award in 2022.

Sue Higgins DipM FCIM

Sue Higgins

Sue has worked in marketing communications for more than twenty years. She has a wealth of experience in branding, communications, planning, and implementation in the software, renewable energy, healthcare, technology and professional services sectors. Her commercial experience, combined with her strong analytical skills, provide her with the ability to focus on the key issues.

Sue is an extremely well-informed marketer with practical knowledge and skills who has a reputation for innovation, as well as getting the job done, on time, and within budget. Sue is a Fellow of the CIM, a Chartered Marketer and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

Barbara Lohoar BA DipM MCIM

Barbara Lohoar

Barbara is an experienced, skilled consultant and marketing projects manager with a strong record of delivering complex projects. Her experience covers both agency and client side roles in B2B sectors in the UK and Europe. Organisations she has worked with include: BP Oil, BBC, UKTV, Global Radio and several charities.

She has written for local and trade press media, producing crystal clear articles and compelling case studies in highly technical fields. Barbara has a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Southampton, holds the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, is certified MCIM and a Chartered Marketer.
